The Property
Jim’s Cottages is a expansive hillside oasis featuring two bi-level villas, each offering spacious upper and lower residences with private entrances.
Situated at the crest of a gentle hill above town, guests enjoy the property's sweeping sea and mountain views, cool ocean breezes and a peaceful, secluded vibe - while remaining just a 5–10 minute walk to idyllic beaches, shops, restaurants and world class pickleball facilities.
Set within organic gardens and shady trees, the property centers around a thoughtfully designed outdoor living area featuring a heated pool and palapa, a full outdoor bar and kitchen area and a fire pit—an ideal setup for enjoying the sunrise with your morning coffee, lounging with a book in the afternoons, sipping sunset cocktails, and star gazing in the evenings that are so quiet, you can hear the mobula rays splashing in the sea below.
The Villas
-Upper Units
After entering the property's front gate, you continue into your private courtyard that includes a lime tree, gas grill and pizza oven. From here, you enter the cavernous upper residence into a breathtaking great room with 20 foot ceilings and windows throughout.
This one bedroom 1.5 bathroom unit offers gorgeous views of the Sea of Cortez from every room. The open floor plan includes a large, well-stocked kitchen with walk-in pantry, a comfortable living room complete with 55" TV and surround sound system and a guest bathroom. The double doors open to the expansive private deck with a stunning 210° view of the Sea of Cortez, the surrounding mountains and the pool area below.
The sliding barn doors lead you into the bedroom and the plush four-poster king size bed, from which you can watch the sunrise over the sea every morning...or sleep in with the room-darkening curtains. The massive en-suite master bathroom includes a clawfoot tub, rainfall shower and spacious walk-in closet.
The residence's large windows and three double screen doors allow the ocean breeze to flow freely throughout, creating a refreshing, naturally ventilated space that stays it cool even without using the AC.
Guests can choose to privately dine or lounge in the great room, the outdoor courtyard or on the deck.
